He welcomed the guests and briefed on Hunan’s conditions. Hunan and Singapore have sound exchange basis, and the official opening of direct flights to Singapore makes the mutual exchanges increasingly frequent, he said, adding that many Singapore enterprises have invested or set up factories in Hunan, especially in Changsha. He introduced that Hunan is now actively applying for free trade zone construction and the building of a central transport hub, which will open up broad space for cooperation with Singapore. Hunan is willing to further strengthen communication and collaboration with Singapore in creating sound investment and trade environment, and urban management, to promote common development and achieve mutual benefit and win-win results, he added.
Embassy remarked that their visit Hunan this time was to learn more about the development of Hunan, as Singapore expected to launch more investment projects in central China.
