Zhangjiajie Huangshi Village Cableway
Red-Net Zhangjiajie Substation, December 13, 2016, reported (reporter: Li Guoping). On December 13, according to Huangshi village passenger cableway Co., Ltd., from January 6, 2017 to January 19, 2017, Zhangjiajie Huangshi village cableway will stop to repair for 14 days. On January 20, this cableway will restore the operation.
Huangshi village cableway is located in the core scenic spot of Zhangjiajie—Wulingyuan and it is about 1 kilometer away from the entry of the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. This cableway has a total length of 1,000 meters, an elevation of 431 meters and an investment more than 50million to build in 1997. And it is an important “Air Corridor” for Chinese and foreign tourists to visit the Huangshi Village scenic area. The capacity of this cableway is more than 2,000 people per hour and this cableway has been awarded as “national top ten cableway”, “the advanced unit of national passenger cableway enterprise culture” by the Chinese cableway association, and repeatedly won the reputation of the national highest enterprise security service quality 5s standards of passenger cableway, etc. Since its operation from 1997, the reception of this scenic area is nearly ten million tourists.
